'De Sokkel' (‘Pedestal’) is a mobile art project organised by the city of Ninove. With each move (mostly after 6 months) another artist places a new work on the pedestal. From July through December 2017 the pedestal was standing near the 'Zwarte Flesch', an iconic pedestrian and cycling bridge over the river Dender. The bridge connects the small village of Pollare with Eichem (and Appelterre). For 'De Sokkel' Veronika Pot showed 'Just remember the good times'. She presented some pictures in a sober metal  box' that attracts the passers-by as a mermaid to get closer to "the traces of everyday existence and its meaning".
